Collective Worship

Each year group will have a formal assembly on one day each week. These assemblies will be of a broadly Christian nature and will focus on a "thought for
the week" aimed at promoting discussion between pupils and teachers about social, moral and religious matters. At the beginning of each day, pupils and teachers will set aside time to discuss the thought of the week together.

Careers Education and Guidance

Careers education forms part of Trinity's PSE programme, which is studied by all pupils throughout Years 9, 10 and 11. In Year 9, pupils will have general careers guidance in relation to selecting options for their GCSE courses. In Years 10 and 11 they will have the opportunity to attend a range of careers talks given by visitors from the local business community.

Every pupil has the opportunity to gain practical experience through a two week work experience placement. Each year Trinity will run a Careers Convention which gives pupils and their parents an opportunity to seek information and advice about possible future careers. This will be followed up by an opportunity to have a one-to-one interview with the careers officer at school. Parents are welcome to come along to these interviews, if they wish to.

The majority of our Year 11 pupils choose to continue their education at Sixth Form level and they receive advice about appropriate courses through a mentoring system involving their Form Tutor, Sixth Form tutors and senior members of staff.
