Hi all,  I left in July 63 so am not in the photo, but my brother is; Dave Jones.  I have a photo of the whole school in 1958. too early for most of you!  Nobby Clarke is still alive and lives over the back to me in Sandiland Road!  Big aaaAlbert Hitchcock now lives in Liverpool, but periodically visits my brother.  -  Dick Jones

Had reservations about walking backwards to school days, but on seeing the site, thought it would be an interesting experience.  However, having wasted five years of my time (and that of most of the people who tried to teach me) I'm now taking my Open University Finals on 13.10.03, so it's head down in books over the previous weekend.  Found a mug shot of Bob Bierton on the listings - who may be interested to know that the word " Cackydugit" is still used regularly in our family repertoire.  Have a good day  -  Rod Whiteman.

Well it has turned out that I will be unable to attend the reunion due to other commitments and the fact my mother is visiting me here in the United States. However she tells me my next door neighbour's son (Martin Verity) will be attending - ah, what fun it would have been to see the old school again! Oh well!

I want to thank you again for all the work you have done on the site, it really is great and I can appreciate what a commitment it must have been for you to do it (albeit lots of fun I'm sure!)  It has brought back so many memories and hopefully may put me in touch with some old friends, even though I won't be there at the reunion.

I am also attaching an up-to-date photo of myself - please feel free to post it and this email address on a wall or somewhere at the reunion with a 'Hello to all my old friends!' message, I would appreciate that, because I will certainly be there in spirit.  -  Roy Martin  (Ian Dow has the e-mail address if you would like to contact Roy)

Does anyone remember finding an old abandoned 350cc Ariel motorbike during our cross country runs and using it to cut out some of the run? I will give more details at the re-union if anyone is interested.  -  Terry Chapman

I think it is a wonderful idea to celebrate this particular period - because we were all there!  Be assured that I will revisit the site and keep up to date. Trinity was a very important time in my life for a number of reasons, as it must have been for many pupils I suppose. It is difficult to make comparisons with other schools which I know nothing of, but I do believe that it was a particularly good school at that time and that we were quite privileged to have attended in the early and mid-sixties.

I have seen no one from those days since I left school in 1964 to join the RAF as a pilot, apart from John Challen  who was Head Boy no less in the year I departed.  He followed a similar career to mine, but in the civilian world via Hamble with BEA/British Airways, and became a senior Captain in the 747 fleet. The last time we met was at Aldergrove, Northern Ireland, in the mid 70s!

Just wanted to thank Ian, John and John for organising yesterdays event. Thought it all went superbly and really appreciate all the hard work that must have gone into the organisation of the day. I had mixed feelings about revisiting the old school, but am glad that I did as it laid a few ghosts. It was fantastic to see so many people there and I even recognised a few faces before I put on the old glasses to read the name tags !

(Must say, it was easier to recognise the girls than the boys as the girls still have their hair)  [Cheek - so do I]
