Bill Rich has found his copy of the Sixth Form quiz. He writes:

the Sixth Form General Knowledge quiz ring any bells?
I found this, just recently, in a heap of old papers. I hung onto it as I felt that, some day, I might put the questions to use. Well nearly 40 years later the questions have never been used.
Looking at the front it was clearly handed out just before we broke up for Christmas in 1966. As far as I can remember everyone was told to go to the hall in the new sixth form block. We sat down, under exam conditions, and the “WHITE copy” was handed out. I have no idea how long we were given to answer the questions, but they were collected in and, as we left, the pink copy was handed out.
I have my marked copy because I remember asking Gunner if I could see the answers after they had been marked. I wanted to know which questions were incorrectly answered. I attempted to appeal against his marking, as I had, what I thought were the correct answers. The problem was that there were spelling mistakes! It was 1 or 0 with Gunner. You did it the “Wright Way”. Didn’t Frank Sinatra have a hit with this some years later?
Anyway try the quiz, but remember many of the answers relate to the1960s. You can look at the questions on the screen, or alternatively, both the questions have been set up so that they can be printed on A4 paper. It may be best to print the questions and write in your answers before looking at the answers. Click on the print icon on your browser to print it out.
