Recollections: Miss Solomon writes: Picture 1987 and a Trinity School trip to Venice. Groups left the hotel after dinner, but at 10-o'clock two girls were missing. Some time later they rolled up somewhat the worse for wear, having been celebrating a birthday. Sent immediately to their rooms, the two were promptly sick all over their clothes and beds. Staff set about washing the bedding and flimsy underwear and Miss Solomon was caught shaking out the tiniest of lace bras on a balcony in front of what seemed the entire male population of the Lido, cheering and clapping as she hung them over the balcony to dry. Embarrassing! |

On an Interesting Note: Miss Solomon loves Italy and after numerous return visits, is only sorry to report that, to date, no similar experience to the above has occurred - not for the lack of trying, she adds!!! |
