on leaving my home in Penticton, BC, Canada on or
about Nov 5th 2011 with my girlfriend, in my
motorhome and heading for New Orleans for a few
weeks of Jazz clubbing before heading into Texas to
spend a large part of the winter. We plan to
visit friends in Southern California in Feb. 2012
before starting a slow drive back home via San
Francisco and across to Vegas. So, sorry will not be able to attend. Please wish all attendees a great time and if anyone remembers me and wants my email address it's fine to pass it on. |

I cannot make it. My excuse this time is that
I will be in London all day in Regent Street. As you
may be aware from all the publicity including the
Top Gear Jeremy Clarkson tribute to the “E” Type
Jaguar, this is its 50th Anniversary and as the
owner of my V12 “E” from new in 1972, I have been
requested by the Jaguar Drivers’ Club to take part
in the London Regent Street Motor Show on the 5th
November, along with 49 other “E” Types. This is
part of the RAC weekend when the annual London to
Brighton Veteran Car Run is staged – taking off the
next day on Sunday. This should be quite an eye
catching day with the attendance also of 50 Minis
also celebrating their 50th and the Motor Show being
on a closed Regent Street will be a free show to the
